Do you provide on-site hydraulic repairs across the UK?
Yes, we absolutely do! We provide on-site hydraulic engineering and repair services, allowing many faults to be diagnosed and repaired at your premises. We can travel to most areas , just let us know where you are.
On-site repairs can help reduce machinery downtime and avoid the disruption and cost of transporting large or heavy equipment.

Can you repair hydraulic presses of all ages?
Yes. We specialise in the servicing, maintenance and repair of hydraulic presses. Some of the presses we work on date back to the 1960's. We love to keep the older equipment running!!
We can investigate issues such as loss of pressure, leaks, unusual operation and hydraulic component failures, and identify the cause of the problem before recommending the appropriate repair.
How often should a hydraulic press be serviced?
This depends on the type of press, how heavily it is used and its working environment.
Regular servicing can help identify worn components, hydraulic leaks and other developing faults before they result in an unexpected breakdown. A planned maintenance programme can also help improve reliability and reduce downtime. Preventative action is better than reactive action.
Do you sell second hand presses?
Yes! We keep our engineering ears to the ground and if we hear of a company selling a press we might buy it, depending on what it is and if we have room at the time to store it. We either have a customer in mind who we know might want the press, or we will bring it back to our workshop for repairs, a service and maybe some TLC and then we will advertise it for sale.
Why is my hydraulic press losing pressure?
There can be several causes of pressure loss, including: hydraulic leaks, worn seals, faulty valves, pump problems, contaminated or incorrect hydraulic oil, or other issues within the hydraulic system.
Our engineers can investigate the system and diagnose the underlying problem, rather than simply replacing components unnecessarily.
Can you repair hydraulic cylinders?
Yes. We can inspect and assess hydraulic cylinders and, where practical, repair or rebuild them.
Cylinder repairs may include replacing seals and other worn components, subject to the condition and design of the cylinder. Where a repair is not cost effective, we can quote for a new replacement cylinder.
How do I know if my hydraulic cylinder needs repairing?

Do you supply and replace hydraulic hoses?
Yes. We supply and replace hydraulic hoses and associated fittings for a range of hydraulic applications.
A damaged, worn or leaking hydraulic hose should be dealt with promptly, as hose failure can cause machinery downtime and may present a serious safety risk.
What causes hydraulic hoses to fail?
Hydraulic hoses can fail for a number of reasons, including age, abrasion, incorrect routing, excessive pressure, heat, chemical exposure, damaged fittings, or general wear and tear.
Regular inspection can help identify deterioration before a hose fails unexpectedly.
Can you supply hydraulic spare parts?
Yes. We can source and supply an extensive range of hydraulic components and spare parts.
If you require a replacement component, providing the part number, equipment details, or photographs can help us identify the correct item.
Can you diagnose a hydraulic fault if I don't know what's wrong?
Absolutely. You don't need to know the exact cause of the problem.
Simply tell us what the equipment is doing - or isn't doing - including any unusual noises, leaks, loss of pressure, slow operation, or change in performance. Our engineers can investigate the system and work towards identifying the underlying fault.
Why is my hydraulic system leaking oil?
Hydraulic oil leaks can be caused by damaged hoses, worn seals, loose fittings, damaged components, or other faults within the system.
Even a small leak should not be ignored. Apart from creating a mess and wasting oil, a leak can indicate a developing fault and can lead to more serious problems.
What hydraulic oil should I use?
